In our last newsletter, we were delighted to announce that two of our clients – Legal & General and Royal Dutch Shell – had been shortlisted for the Strategic Planning Society’s award in the category: Best Online Annual Reporting by a FTSE 100 company.
It’s been a great year for awards, especially for Legal & General and Shell winning all major UK rankings like Financial Times or IR Society Best Practice. So we dared to hope that another accolade might be won at the prestigious Royal Overseas League event on Wednesday, 29 April.
If we were delighted to be nominated, we couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Legal & General plc again was recognised by industry experts for an award that wasn’t paid for!

Congratulation on winning at the SPS awards.
You may not be aware that both Shell and Legal & General were also in the top 5 UK online annual reports, as voted by the online annual report agencies, in our monthly Trial by Jury feature in the current issue of Communicate magazine.
Shell took the top slot, with L&G coming 4th.
The article is out in the magazine, and the story will be posted online in the next day or two.
